I was never going to be one thing.
I’ve worked in customer service, marketing, business banking, web projects, and now healthcare. It looks like a sharp turn on paper, but every chapter taught me something I still use: how to listen, explain, organize, and take responsibility for the result.

What matters to me
Four things I try to bring to the work.
Not a personal manifesto—just the habits I keep coming back to.
Keep learning after the assignment ends.
I am happiest when a question leads into a deeper system, a new culture, or something I can build and test.
Finish the thing.
Ideas only get interesting once somebody can understand, use, play, or improve them.
Use what I already know.
Business discipline can strengthen healthcare. Creative work can sharpen communication. Language study can widen perspective.
Why the switch makes sense
I changed careers. I didn’t throw away what I learned.
Business banking taught me to handle sensitive information, ask better questions, and understand how decisions affect real people. Marketing and web work taught me to structure information around an audience. Healthcare made the stakes more immediate and human.
Creative projects let me practice the same habit in a lower-stakes setting: build a version, notice what does not work, and make it better. I enjoy that loop almost as much as the finished result.
The industries changed. The habits—listen, organize, explain, follow through—didn’t.
Now and next
Nursing is the priority. The other interests are staying.
I’m finishing the BSN and building my direct-care experience. I’m also still making projects, studying Japanese, traveling when I can, and planning a life beyond the next job title.
Finish the BSN well.
My focus now is strengthening clinical judgment, communication, safety habits, and the transition from student to registered nurse.
Keep building.
I still make browser projects and use AI for research, rough drafts, and prototypes. Nothing goes public until I’ve reviewed it and made it mine.
Have a life outside the job.
I want meaningful healthcare work, family, travel, language learning, and enough time and autonomy to keep creating.
